West Ham Linked With Shock £17.8m Move For Chelsea And United Flop

West Ham are interested in signing Monaco forward Radamel Falcao, according to Don Balon.

The Spanish rumour mongers suggest that the Colombian international is being lined up as a potential replacement for Marko Arnautovic, who could be sold this summer.

Falcao wants to leave Monaco with the club having finished 17th in Ligue One, and he is also being pursued by the likes of Sevilla, Valencia and River Plate.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United loanee scored 16 goals last season, and would reportedly be available for €20m (£17.8m).

It would be a costly outlay for a player that is 33 years of age, and after previously failing in the Premier League, it would represent a major risk for the Hammers.

Falcao would apparently be open to the move due to the salary on offer, but he would need to be convinced as he would prefer to move to a club in the Champions League.
