West Ham Join Two Other Premier League Clubs In Pursuing Ex Chelsea Man

West Ham are considering Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri as a potential candidate to replace David Moyes, according to reports in the Italian media.

The former Chelsea manager has had some success since taking over one of Rome’s two major teams, with the Biancocelesti currently sitting sixth in the Serie A table (ahead of Tuesday’s game against Milan).

With the Hammers winning 2-0 against Everton at the weekend, it has granted Moyes a stay of execution, with his side currently still just a point off the bottom three.

After the FA Cup game against Derby County, they have a tough run of fixtures against Newcastle, Chelsea and Tottenham which could well decide Moyes’ fate.

West Ham are not the only team pursuing Sarri, though. Spurs are considering him as a possible replacement for Antonio Conte who could leave at the end of the season, while Everton are weighing up their options after sacking Frank Lampard.
