West Ham are “targeting” Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma, according to The Guardian reporter Jacob Steinberg.
The journalist claims that the Hammers have already approached Villarreal but they will face stern competition from other clubs for the Dutchman’s signature:

Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal have all been credited with an interest in Danjuma over the past twelve months since he made the switch to Spain from Championship club Bournemouth.
Villarreal only paid £21m for the 25-year-old last summer, but reports have since suggested that a release clause was included in Danjuma’s contract, which means he can leave if a club pays €45m (£39m).
Whether West Ham will be looking to pay the buyout fee, it remains to be seen. Irons boss David Moyes is believed to be looking at a number of options to strengthen his forward line and it is not known whether Danjuma is the club’s number one priority.
