West Ham Join PL Rivals In Battle For Danish Midfield Destroyer Who Has Arsenal Tattoo

Hjulmund

West Ham are among the Premier League teams interested in signing Lecce holding midfielder Morten Hjulmand, according to reports in the Italian media.

The Dane has been impressing with his performances in Serie A this season, with the likes of Brighton and Tottenham also keeping track of the player.

It has been claimed, though, that Hjulmand has an Arsenal tattoo, which may cause some controversy if he does end up moving to the Premier League, especially if it is a rival London club.

The 23-year-old is courting interest in Italy too, with the likes of Inter Milan, AC Milan, Roma and Napoli having kept an eye on the midfielder’s displays. Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid have been watching him as well.

In terms of a potential switch to West Ham, Hjulmand could well be an option if the Hammers do sell captain Declan Rice at the end of the season.
