West Ham are interested in signing Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney, according to reports in the English media.

The Hammers have joined the likes of Newcastle, Leicester, Leeds and Aston Villa in pursuing the former Celtic defender, who could leave the Emirates at the end of the season.

Tierney has lost his place to Oleksandr Zinchenko, having started just four Premier League matches since August, and he is contemplating a move to get more first-team football.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed that he has talked to the Scottish international about his future, although he didn’t say whether he would sanction a sale this summer.

Reports suggest that Arsenal would demand around £30m for Tierney, which is only £5m more than they paid for the fullback three and a half years ago.

West Ham already have two left-backs in Aaron Cresswell and Emerson Palmieri but the former is out of contract in June and Tierney may well be an option as the Irons seek a replacement.
