West Ham Join Arsenal In Race For Brazilian Shot Stopper As They Eye Fabianski Replacement

West Ham are interested in signing Barcelona goalkeeper Neto, according to reports in the Italian media.

The Brazilian international is expected to leave the Camp Nou at the end of the season, having spent two years with the La Liga club as the understudy to Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Neto’s campaign came to a close following Barca’s final game of the season against Eibar yesterday evening, having only played a handful of games.

The Hammers are reportedly looking to replace Lukasz Fabianski, with the Polish international having turned 36 last month, and Neto is likely to be one of the keepers that have been scouted. West Brom’s Sam Johnstone is another shot-stopper that has been heavily linked in recent days and it is not known who is top of the club’s list of targets currently.

Arsenal are also said to be interested in the 31-year-old with the Gunners reportedly considering potential options if Bernd Leno were to depart the Emirates at the end of the campaign.
