West Ham Join Arsenal And Spurs In Pursuit Of Highly Rated Mexican International

West Ham are one of a number of English teams who are watching Cruz Azul winger Orbelin Pineda, according to reports in the English media.

The Mexican international actually opted against a move to Manchester City four years ago in order to continue his career in his homeland but it is believed he is now ready to make the switch to Europe.

In addition to the Hammers, Arsenal, Everton, Tottenham, Wolves, Newcastle and Newcastle are all keeping a watchful eye on Pineda’s development, while there are also a number of teams on the continent scouting the 24-year-old.

Considering West Ham have only recently signed a left-winger in Said Benrahma, the likelihood of manager David Moyes wanting yet another wide player is very low.

Pineda has not exactly impressed for Cruz Azul at the start of the Mexican League season either, having scored just one goal and provided one assist in 15 appearances so far.
