West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is not expected to be back available for the game against Brighton this weekend.
The Polish international fractured his cheekbone and eye socket in the 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest last Saturday. He had to be substituted midway through the second half after a nasty clash with defender Felipe.
Maxwel Cornet has not played for five months now due to a calf problem and manager David Moyes says he is still not “100%” confident that the Ivorian has recovered. It looks like the winger will still need more time on the treatment table.
Vladimir Coufal did not play in the 3-1 defeat to Manchester United midweek after suffering a heel injury. The Czech has been managing the problem for a while but he now needs extensive treatment before he can return to the pitch.
Kurt Zouma is, however, closing in on his first-team comeback. The Frenchman injured his thigh in the victory over Everton in January but he could be in contention for the bench on Saturday.
Ahead of West Ham’s match this weekend, why not give the Single Game Survivor from National World Gaming a go and have a chance of winning a share of a cash prize pot?
You can make predictions about the match (e.g who scores first, who commits five fouls first etc) and if you guess correctly, you survive.
The unique twist? You get two lives to play with so if you get one of your predictions wrong, you still have an opportunity to win a share of the money.
Even if you make it just to half-time with one life remaining, you will receive some cash and if you make it all the way to full-time, you get to share the prize pot with your fellow participants.
It’s a really great way to test your football knowledge against other supporters, then watch in real-time to discover if your predictions are correct, and perhaps even win yourself some money in the process!
