West Ham have enquired about signing Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez, according to Sport.
The Catalan newspaper reports that the Hammers are one of three Premier League teams who are interested in the 24-year-old with Watford and Everton also said to be keen. Reports in recent weeks have also linked the player with Chelsea and Arsenal.
Suarez has been on the fringes of Barca’s first team this season, having made just six appearances under manager Ernesto Valverde. He was available for transfer in the summer, with AC Milan having registered their interest in the player, but the midfielder opted to stay and fight for his place.
Unfortunately for him, he hasn’t managed to change opinions of the coaching staff at the Camp Nou, and a January departure is likely. Barcelona are believed to be looking for €10m (£9m) to sell him.
