West Ham Holding Talks With City, United And Brighton About Potential Loan Moves

West Ham are holding talks with Manchester City, Manchester United and Brighton about signing three centre-backs on loan, according to ExWHUemployee.

It is believed that the Hammers are talking to City about possibly bringing in John Stones on a temporary basis, with the England international reportedly deemed surplus to requirements by manager Pep Guardiola.

David Moyes’ side are also said to be in discussions with United in regards to taking Phil Jones on loan. The 28-year-old is currently struggling with a knee injury so it remains to be seen if the deal is deemed too risky.

The most advanced negotiations, though, have been with Brighton over signing Shane Duffy. Talks are expected to take place in the next couple of days about a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Reports in Scotland have, though, suggested that West Brom are closing in on signing the Irish international on a permanent basis, while Celtic and Burnley are also believed to be interested.
