West Ham Handed Major Boost As Ligue One Giants Make Plans To Sell 30M Rated January Target

Lyon are already planning Moussa Dembele’s departure in the January transfer window, according to reports in the French media.

The 24-year-old is believed to be a target for West Ham, while the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have taken a keen interest in the former Celtic player over the last year.

Teams will be on alert with Lyon having targeted Leicester City’s Islam Slimani and Stade de Reims’s Boulaye Dia as possible replacements for Dembele.

It is said that the Ligue One side are only looking at cut-price deals due to their financial situation but it is thought they could still demand up to £30m if they sell Dembele in the New Year.

The Hammers are indeed looking to strengthen their forward line in January but the former France Under 21 international may well be out of their price range, with manager David Moyes said to be looking at Bournemouth’s Joshua King instead.
