West Ham Given Major Boost In Race To Sign 25M Marksman As PL Rival Fail To Agree Deal

West Ham are still in with a chance of signing Aston Villa’s Danny Ings after Everton failed to agree terms over a loan deal for the striker, according to reports in England.

The Toffees were hoping to snap up the former Liverpool player on a temporary basis until the end of the season but Villa are only interested in a permanent move.

Ings made the switch to the Midlands for £25m eighteen months ago but it appears he doesn’t feature in new manager Unai Emery’s first team plans.

The Hammers are believed to be keeping tabs on the forward’s situation, in addition to his former team Southampton, and the collapse of talks with Everton may lead to both clubs making bids of their own.

Despite shelling out on Gianluca Scamacca last summer, David Moyes’ side have struggled in front of goal this campaign, scoring only 15 times in 18 matches, so bringing in someone like Ings is desperately needed.
