Barcelona centre-back Clement Lenglet is keen on playing in the Premier League if he does leave the Camp Nou this summer, according to reports in the Catalan media.

West Ham, Everton, Arsenal and Tottenham have all been mentioned as teams who could be interested in signing the 26-year-old, and this latest update will certainly give those clubs encouragement that a deal can be done.

Roma have recently had a €15m (£12.8m) bid knocked back by Barca for Lenglet and it is believed they are holding out for a fee of around €25m (£21.4m). Whether that will put off David Moyes’ side, we shall have to wait and see.

The Hammers are keen on signing a centre-back, with the likes of Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic and Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah being suggested as other possible options.

Lenglet has been the one most heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium recently, though, and the fact that he is open to a move to England will undoubtedly help in securing his signature.
