West Ham Expected To Be Challenged By PL Rival In Battle To Sign 22M Rated Dutch World Cup Star

West Ham will have competition from the likes of Leeds in the battle to sign Club Brugge winger Noa Lang, according to reports in the Italian media.

Reliable sources have already confirmed that the 23-year-old, who will be at the World Cup with the Netherlands, is a target for Hammers boss David Moyes.

However, it is believed that Leeds (and possibly AC Milan) could be the London club’s main rivals for Lang if they do make an approach during the January transfer window.

Other Premier League sides, including Arsenal, Everton and Aston Villa have also been linked with the Dutchman, but it seems West Ham will only have to fight off two teams for the player’s signature.

Lang is reportedly valued at around €25m (£22m) by Brugge so it remains to be seen whether the Irons can stump up the cash needed to fund a bid for the winger in the New Year.
