West Ham Enter Race For £13m Rated French Starlet Amid Claims That Eze Pursuit Has Hit The Buffers

West Ham and Leicester are both monitoring Bordeaux attacking midfielder Yacine Adli, according to reports in the French media.

At this stage, it does appear the Foxes are the keenest to snap up the 19-year-old with Brendan Rodgers’ side said to be planning a €14m (£13m) offer for the player, but the Hammers could well step up their interest.

Their pursuit of QPR’s Eberechi Eze is believed to have hit a snag with Crystal Palace now reportedly leading the race to sign the 22-year-old this summer.

If that is the case, a move for an alternative like Adli would make sense, considering they play in similar positions on the pitch.

However, the Frenchman’s stats last season do not compare that favourably with Eze. For Bordeaux, the midfielder scored three goals and provided three assists in 21 appearances.

Eze, meanwhile, was in scintillating form for QPR, bagging 14 goals and contributing eight assists in 46 league games.
