West Ham Could Revive Bid For 6ft 7 Man Mountain As Moyes Looks To Fix Goalscoring Woes

West Ham have reignited their interest in Racing Genk striker Paul Onuachu, according to reports in the French media.

The 6ft 7 target man was originally linked with a move to the London Stadium eighteen months ago, with Arsenal also vying for his signature at the time.

However, a transfer did not materialise and Onuachu remained in Belgium, where he has continued to score goals, having racked up 14 in 16 Pro League appearances this campaign.

This time around, it is believed that the Hammers could be competing with the likes of Manchester United, Aston Villa and Everton for the Nigerian’s services.

Onuachu is expected to cost between €20m (£17.6m) and €25m (£22m), but manager David Moyes may feel it is a price worth paying considering West Ham’s struggles in front of goal this season.  The London club have only managed to score 15 times in 18 league matches, with Moyes’ side currently struggling in 17th place, just above the dropzone.
