West Ham Could Miss Out As Villa Plot 30M Raid For Chelsea Marksman

Aston Villa are lining up an offer in excess of £30m for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, according to reports in England.

The 23-year-old is believed to be a key summer transfer target for West Ham but it seems that Dean Smith’s side are looking to beat their rivals to the England international’s signature.

Abraham played for the Villans on loan during the 2018/19 season and he could be open to a move back to the Midlands, considering he is out of favour at Stamford Bridge.

The forward didn’t even make the matchday squad for the win over Manchester City in the Champions League final last night and he is said to be considering his options.

With Chelsea reportedly holding out for around £40m for Abraham, it’s not certain Villa’s potential bid will be accepted, so West Ham are likely to be still in the running if they can trump their rival’s offer.
