West Ham Could Be Given Free Run To Sign 30M Senegalese Ace As United And Liverpool Pull Out

Manchester United and Liverpool will not make a move for Ismaila Sarr this month, meaning West Ham will have very little competition for the Senegalese international, according to reports.

The Hammers are said to be considering making a £30m bid for the Watford forward after receiving a £20m windfall from the sale of Sebastien Haller to Ajax last week.

Sarr is thought to be keener on a move to United or Liverpool but, with neither club likely to be involved in the bidding, it could be down to either West Ham or Crystal Palace.

The Eagles did have a £25m offer for the 22-year-old knocked back before the last transfer window closed in October but it is not known whether they will return with another bid.

West Ham have been linked with a whole host of strikers in recent days, with Hertha Berlin’s Krzysztof Piatek, Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik and Real Madrid’s Mariano Diaz all being tipped as other potential options. A move for Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah has seemingly been ruled out though.
