West Ham Consider January Swoop For 35M Rated World Cup Star, With Moyes Said To Be A Big Fan

West Ham are weighing up a potential move for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Hammers have been linked with the Moroccan international regularly over the past eighteen months but, after a strong World Cup, they have been tipped to revive their interest in the player.

Sevilla are set to take advantage of En-Nesyri’s higher profile, slapping a €40m (£35m) price tag on him, despite the fact that he has only scored two goals for the Spanish club this season; that is the same number he managed at the World Cup.

Despite a poor domestic campaign, though, Mundo Deportivo claim that West Ham boss David Moyes is a “lover of his game” so we shall see whether that leads to the London club making a formal approach in January.

It is believed that other clubs could also enter the mix for En-Nesyri. Arsenal and Brighton have been mentioned as potential suitors in the past, although there is no indication that either team will compete with the Irons for the 25-year-old’s services this time around.
