West Ham Are One Of Four Possible Destinations If Arsenal Star Rejects New Deal

West Ham are interested in signing Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson if he decides to run down his contract, according to reports in England.

It is believed that the Hammers have joined the likes of Southampton, Everton and Championship leaders Burnley in pursuing the 23-year-old.

Nelson played a crucial role in the London club’s comeback win against Bournemouth at the weekend, providing an assist for the equaliser, as well as smashing in the last-gasp winner. As a result, it has been claimed that the Gunners have restarted talks over a contract extension. His current deal expires in June.

However, there are no guarantees that the forward will stay at the Emirates. He has had very limited game time this season, with his substitute appearance on Saturday just his eighth match since August.

Nelson has managed only 336 minutes in all competitions, and he may well be open to moving elsewhere if he can be guaranteed more first-team opportunities.
