West Ham Are One Of 7 Teams Vying To Sign World Cup Semi Finalist Who Is Poised To Leave Chelsea

Ziyech

West Ham are interested in signing Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech, according to reports in the French media.

The Moroccan, who helped his country reach the World Cup semi-finals last year, is keen on leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Paris Saint-Germain remain favourites to secure Ziyech’s services despite a move to the Ligue One side collapsing right before the end of the January transfer window.

However, the Hammers, Tottenham, Fulham, Real Betis, Fenerbahce and Besiktas are also said to be weighing up offers for the 30-year-old.

Chelsea are not expected to demand a sizeable fee for Ziyech, with a bid of €15m (£13.2m) to €20m (£17.6m) likely to be accepted. They could even be amenable to a loan to buy option.

Of course, West Ham’s interest is completely dependent on the team retaining their top-flight status. David Moyes’ side look set to be involved in a relegation battle until the final day.
