West Ham Are ‘Expressing An Interest’ In Newcastle Star But Face SEVEN Clubs In Race To Land Him

West Ham are keen on Newcastle midfielder Matty Longstaff, according to TEAMtalk. The website claims the Hammers are “expressing an interest” in snapping up the 19-year-old who will able to leave at the end of his contract in June.

The teenager does, though, have plenty of other admirers, with the likes of Arsenal, Everton, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Club Brugge and Atalanta also attentive to his situation.

The Magpies have been trying to tie Longstaff down to a longer term deal over recent months but they are struggling to agree terms with the young midfielder.

The Newcastle born starlet is said to be seriously considering leaving St James’ Park and it does appear he will not be short of options.

Whether West Ham will be able to persuade Longstaff into making the move to the London Stadium ahead of other potential destinations, we shall have to wait and see.
