West Ham Are ‘Convinced’ By Honduran Ace Who Could Be Sold For 8.9M

West Ham remain interested in Cadiz striker Anthony ‘Choco’ Lozano, according to Goal Spain. The website says they know that the Honduran international is on the club’s list of striker targets.

After failing in their attempts to sign Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla, the Hammers could well make a move for another La Liga forward who has been catching the eye this season.

Goal report that West Ham are “convinced” enough by Lozano to add him to their shortlist but no formal bid has been made for the 27-year-old at this stage. However, that may change before the transfer deadline on Monday.

The Honduran is likely to be one of the cheapest options available with Cadiz said to be only holding out for €10m (£8.9m) for the forward. One of the reasons for that is probably his goal record.

Lozano has only hit the back of the net three times in 16 league appearances this campaign, although it must be pointed out that he is playing in a rather defensive team.
