West Ham And Spurs Linked With Swoop For 6ft 7 Austrian Giant Who Was On Chelsea’s Radar Last Year

West Ham and Tottenham are among the teams interested in signing Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic, according to reports in the German media.

The Austrian target man, who is 6ft 7, is out of contract at the end of next season, and he will available for a fee below €20m (£16.6m).

Respected sources in the English press linked Kalajdzic with a move to Chelsea last year, before the arrival of Romelu Lukaku and, while the Blues are no longer interested, the Hammers have now joined Spurs, Roma, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig in pursuing the player ahead of this summer.

The 24-year-old has been sidelined for most of this season due to injury, but he is back fit and available now. West Ham boss David Moyes will be keen to add more options upfront, with Michail Antonio the London club’s only recognised forward.

Competition for Kalajdzic’s signature will be fierce, though, and we shall see if the Irons do make a formal approach when the campaign is over.
