West Ham And Arsenal On Alert As Chelsea Make Key Decision On 40M Rated Target’s Future

Chelsea are likely to reduce their asking price for Tammy Abraham from £40m to £35m, according to reports in the English media.

West Ham, Arsenal and Aston Villa are all said to be interested in signing the 23-year-old but, up until now, they have been reluctant to go anywhere near Chelsea’s valuation of the player.

The Hammers, in particular, are thought to be very keen to snap up Abraham, although it is unlikely that a £5m drop in the price tag will encourage them to table a bid.

It is believed David Moyes’ side are only prepared to pay a maximum of £30m, so an offer will depend on Chelsea lowering their demands even further before the transfer window closes next month.

West Ham are considering other options, including the likes of Southampton’s Danny Ings, Racing Genk’s Paul Onuachu and Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima, but it is clear that Abraham is the club’s number one target.
