West Ham Among Four Clubs Named As Being Interested In £54m Rated Copa America Star

West Ham have shown an interest in Gremio winger Everton, according to AS.

The Madrid based publication reports that Manchester United, Manchester City and AC Milan are the other teams tracking the 23-year-old following a standout Copa America for Brazil.

Everton had only made four appearances for Brazil before this summer, but an ankle injury to Neymar has allowed the wide man to establish himself at international level.

He impressed during two warm-up matches against Qatar and Honduras earlier this month and then scored after coming on a substitute in the first group match of the Copa America against Bolivia.

After another brief cameo appearance in the 0-0 draw versus Venezuela, Everton was given his first start by manager Tite against Peru on Saturday.

The left winger scored and provided an assist in the 5-0 rout, leading many newspapers to speculate about his future club.

Everton reportedly has a €60m (£54m) release clause at Gremio, and it remains to be seen if any team will look to make a bid close to that figure.
