West Ham are expected to join Sheffield United and Southampton in the race to sign Nottingham Forest right-back Matty Cash, according to reports in the English media.
It is believed that the Blades have already had a £10m offer rejected for the 22-year-old, leaving the door open for other teams to make their move.
The Hammers were interested in Cash during the January transfer window and could revive their interest this month. However, fans on Twitter doubt whether the club have the funds to finance the transfer:

It seems as though Forest may demand up to double Sheffield United’s opening offer which would probably put him beyond David Moyes side’s reach.
The Irons are likely to be very keen to sign a new right-back this summer following the departures of Pablo Zabaleta and Jeremy Ngakia. Youngster Ben Johnson did impress when given his opportunities but the feeling is that the club will seek out greater competition for Ryan Fredericks.
