Watford V West Ham: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

West Ham still have something to play for on the final day. If they beat Watford at Vicarage Road this weekend, they will leapfrog the Hornets into tenth place.

After some good recent away performances, Hammers fans will be confident about this matchup, especially with Watford having an FA Cup final coming up.

West Ham could even finish ninth if Chelsea win at Leicester City so manager Manuel Pellegrini’s side will be hungry for the three points.

The Irons will likely have Declan Rice and Felipe Anderson back fit for the game after both missed the 3-0 win over Southampton last weekend due to illness.

Aaron Cresswell (knee) has been back training over the last ten days and should return to the matchday squad on Sunday, but Sami Nasri has been nursing a calf injury and remains a doubt.

Andy Carroll (ankle), Andriy Yarmolenko (Achilles) and Winston Reid (knee) are still out of action.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Watford:

Fabianski, Fredericks, Diop, Balbuena, Masuaku, Antonio, Rice, Noble, Anderson, Lanzini, Arnautovic

For Watford, midfielder Etienne Capoue should be back in contention after missing the 3-0 defeat to Chelsea due to a groin strain.

However, Miguel Britos is a slight doubt because of issues with his wisdom teeth, while Sebastian Prodl is still sidelined with a knee problem.

Former West Ham starlet Domingos Quina will not feature as the Portuguese midfielder is recovering from a dislocated shoulder.

Watford’s Predicted XI:

Foster, Femenia, Cathcart, Mariappa, Holebas, Hughes, Doucoure, Capoue, Pereyra, Deulofeu, Deeney.

The bookmakers have made Watford slight favourites for this one with Javi Gracia’s team 5/4 to win at Bet365. A draw is currently 29/10 at Unibet while a victory for West Ham is 9/4 at Betfair.

Predicted Score – 1-1
