West Ham forward Jesse Lingard has been nominated in GiveMeSport‘s Fans’ Premier League Player of the Month award for April.
The 28-year-old has been shortlisted for the accolade, along with the likes of Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood, Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho, West Brom’s Matheus Pereira and Leeds’ Illan Meslier.
Lingard continued his rich vein of form in front of goal for the Hammers last month, hitting the back of the net four times, as well as contributing one assist. His goals were crucial in wins over Wolves and Leicester, which have helped his side stay in contention for a top-four finish.
Nobody could have predicted how well the England international would have performed after joining on loan from Manchester United at the start of February but West Ham boss David Moyes will be very keen to keep him on a permanent basis now. Irons supporters can vote for Lingard by clicking here.
