‘Under 10M I’d Have Him’ ‘He’d Do Really Well For Us’ Fans Discuss Whether West Ham Should Snap Up Abraham Alternative

West Ham have been dealt a setback in their attempts to sign a forward with it being reported that Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is favouring a move to Arsenal.

A number of alternatives have been suggested, including Southampton’s Danny Ings, Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard, Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima and Blackburn’s Adam Armstong.

However, with Divock Origi having been made available for transfer by Liverpool, some supporters on Twitter think Hammers boss David Moyes should take a gamble on the Belgian:

The 26-year-old is a cult hero at Anfield, having scored in a Champions League final, as well as crucial winners against Everton and Barcelona, but he is quite far down the pecking order under manager Jurgen Klopp.

Reports suggest that Origi could be sold for around £15m to £20m, which means he would cost substantially less than Abraham. Whether he possesses the ability of the Chelsea striker, though, it is up for debate.
