‘Arsenal Would Never Let This Happen’ ‘I’d Pass Out If We Added Him Too’ Fans React As West Ham Plot £35M Move

West Ham and Chelsea have both made enquiries about Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, according to journalist Peter O’Rourke.

The Gunners are weighing up whether to sell the 23-year-old before the transfer window closes, and they could be willing to do business for between £35m and £40m.

While some fans on X would be delighted if Smith Rowe made the switch to the London Stadium, many doubt whether Arsenal would sanction the move:

Smith Rowe would be an outstanding signing

If the Gunners are prepared to sell for the figures that are being reported, then West Ham should be doing all they can to secure the England international’s services.

Smith Rowe may have had his injury problems over the last twelve months but you can’t forget that he scored 10 Premier League goals just two seasons ago.

West Ham may prioritise other positions

Despite recruiting Mohammed Kudus, though, the Irons are thought to be looking at signing another striker before the transfer window shuts on Friday night.

Both Corinthians’ Yuri Alberto and Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri have been touted as potential targets and, if the club are to spend £30m+ in the coming days, they may decide to put it towards one of these players instead of Smith Rowe.
