5) Liverpool – €112m

Anfield

The Reds could actually rocket up this list if they do seal the signature of Southampton’s Romeo Lavia in the coming days.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has brought in two marquee signings so far; both of which have been recruited to strengthen the midfield.

It is believed that Liverpool paid only £35m to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton due to a release clause. The World Cup winner could turn out to be the bargain of the summer.

Dominik Szoboszlai cost nearly double at £60m. Purchasing the Hungarian captain is a much riskier move, and there are doubts over how he will adapt to the Premier League.
