Despite his side scoring 106 goals in 46 games in the Championship last season, there are doubts over whether Silva can replicate that sort of success in the top flight.

The Portuguese manager plays an open brand of football and there is a danger that Fulham could be carved apart by superior Premier League attacks. The Cottagers have brought in five new signings but it remains to be seen if they have done enough to avoid relegation.
