Napoli may consider offering Hirving Lozano in a straight swap deal for West Ham attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Partenopei are said to be willing to offload the Mexican international after a disappointing first season in Serie A following his €42m move from PSV. The winger has scored just three goals and provided two assists in 28 appearances.
Supporters on Twitter think West Ham should not agree to a swap deal involving Lozano:
Lozano too light weight for prem

No swap deal…Sell him 100% ….And try and at least get back most of what we wasted on him ⚒

Lozano would massively flop in the prem, at least we know that Anderson can be decent.

He's being offloaded cos he flopped in Italy.
I'm pretty sure if for some reason we actually wanted to do this deal, we could sell Anderson for significantly more than it would cost to buy Lozano.

Fake news.

Wouldn’t be 100% convinced in selling him tbh, but if we do, I defo agree with you about cash and reinvest in local talent ?

On a purely monetary basis, a straight swap would make sense considering both players cost approximately the same amount.
Lozano is fast and would add pace to the Hammers’ forward line, but his disappointing campaign in Italy does raise big questions about his ability to play at the highest level.
The Mexican performed well during his time in the Netherlands with PSV but it would be a big risk if West Ham decided to bring him to the London Stadium.
