West Ham are targeting Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph, according to reports in the UK.
The 29-year-old was signed by Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini when he was manager at City and it seems he is keen to link up with the England international once again.
Most fans on Twitter think Delph would be a good signing:
This would be a great signing if they can pull it off

Would be a smart signing. Not spectacular but definitely good enough for us

Not a bad shout! Can play either LB or CM. A good solid professional with still plenty to offer.?

Think he’d be a great signing, technically very good, rarely give the ball away and has a very good work ethic.

A few supporters have doubts over the midfielder’s fitness record:
Good player can’t stay fit. No thanks

I mean he is very injury prone as well… that has to be taken into account

57 games in 4 years?

Delph has certainly had his fair share of injuries over the past few years and considering the club’s long injury list last season, it would be a major concern if the midfielder were to sign for West Ham.
The former Leeds and Aston Villa player made just 13 starts last campaign, mostly out of position at left-back, and he hasn’t made a league appearance since January.
Reports suggest that Delph will be available for £15m. Whether such a figure would tempt the Irons into making a bid, we shall see.
