West Ham are willing to sell midfielder Declan Rice for the right price, according to reports in the English media. It is believed that manager David Moyes would be open to the possibility if he could use the money to reinvest in the squad.
Even if the club received a massive fee for the 21-year-old, though, there are a lot of fans on Twitter who don’t think the Hammers should be selling one of their best players:
Where has this come from? This cant be true, it would be unbelievably negative.

Worse thing the club could do, need to build a team around him. Can’t keep selling your best players, it’s got to stop

He’s only a temporary manager he shouldn’t be allowed to make decisions like these…

The fact that David Moyes is open to selling Declan Rice in the Summer shows how clueless he is about management at PL level. His openness to selling Rice shows he should not be West Ham manager.

Tbf could get 9 Jordan Hugills.

£90m is a lot of money, and if West Ham did receive such a sum for Rice in the summer transfer window, the club would have to seriously consider it.
However, it must be said that the midfielder could be the successor to Mark Noble as the club’s main talisman. The Irons captain isn’t getting any younger, and it is important that the club have players in the team who have a connection to the supporters. Rice’s sale would certainly be seen as a very negative move by most of the fanbase.
