With the Premier League season on ice, West Ham fans have a lot of time on their hands to speculate on potential transfers and even new kit designs ahead of next campaign.
This supporter has had a go at a concept design for the Hammers’ new home shirt ahead of the 2020/21 season, and the reaction on Twitter has been overwhelmingly positive:

The minimalist design is certainly a stark contrast to Umbro’s 2019/20 version which is dominated by blue on the top half of the shirt, with five darker horizontal stripes.
Instead, the new concept kit has kept with a simple, traditional claret on the chest, while including the blue on the shoulder sleeves of the shirt.
Whether such an idea will be utilised by Umbro on their newest designs, we shall have to wait to find out. New kits are generally released in either June or July, but that may be delayed with the current campaign expected to be extended due to the ongoing health crisis.
