West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini has been called up by Argentina for the international games against Venezuela and Morocco later this month.
The 26-year-old has spent the last eight months out with a knee injury that he sustained whilst training with his national team ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
While Lanzini will, of course, be delighted with the call-up, many West Ham fans on Twitter are concerned that the midfielder will return from international duty with another injury:
Noooooooo they broke him last time

With Lanzini only having returned to full fitness just a couple of weeks ago, it is a surprise that he has been recalled by manager Lionel Scaloni so quickly.
Especially as Argentina are only playing in friendlies this month ahead of the Copa America in June, it would be majorly frustrating for Hammers supporters if he did pick up another issue so soon after returning.
Lanzini will likely play against Cardiff and Huddersfield before flying out for the two international fixtures. Argentina face Venezuela on the 23rd March and Morocco on the 26th.
