West Ham have registered their interest in signing Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic on loan in the January transfer window, according to reports in the Spanish media.
The Serbian international has failed to establish himself in the first team since his £62m move from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer, and could well be on the move next month.
However, most fans on Twitter don’t think Jovic will be moving to the London Stadium:

Sounds like a guess based on a possible re-uniting with Haller as both are struggling, or a plant by the club to deceive, as usual the poor fans into thinking that they are thinking big & disguising the real quality of player they will get followed by the usual ‘well we tried’.

Linking up Jovic with his former Frankfurt strike partner Sebastien Haller would be a massive coup, but there are likely to be a number of other European teams after the 21-year-old if he is available on loan.
Manchester United are one of the other clubs that have been named already as a possible destination and while the Hammers could certainly guarantee game time, it would take a lot of persuading for him to move to the London club.
