West Ham have enquired about Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to reports in the Italian media.
The former Arsenal player is likely to be offloaded by the current Serie A champions in the summer after struggling during his two seasons with the club.
However, despite Ramsey’s undoubted talent, supporters on Twitter are sceptical about the reports, with some pointing out that his poor injury record and salary demands would make any move unrealistic:
Wait the welsh Wilshere? because that went well

This is certainly not a rumour to spend too much time talking about. While Ramsey could well be on his way back to the Premier League in the summer, he is not the profile manager David Moyes is looking for.
Now the wrong side of 30, and with a worryingly long injury record, the Wales international is hardly going to contribute the energy and work rate that Moyes needs from his players. It’s probably wise to file this story under ‘very unlikely’.
