Following our look at the players with the most key passes in the Premier League last week, we now switch our focus to the goalkeeping department.
Finding data that can assess a shot-stopper’s performance can be tricky, but there are some reliable metrics out there that can help us identify the worst-performing keepers.
Post-shot xG is a measurement that assesses how likely a goalkeeper is to save a shot. We can then subtract the actual goals conceded to see who is performing poorly. For this list, we have looked at players who have played at least 10 league games.
