Wingers are a dying breed in the modern game with the majority of Premier League managers utilising systems that use what can be best described as “inside forwards” in their attacking positions.

Over the course of the Premier League era, though, there have some outstanding talents who played out wide, including the likes of Ryan Giggs, David Ginola and David Beckham.
