The TOP FIVE Highest Paid Right Wingers In The Premier League

After going through the best paid attacking midfielders in England last week, we now move on to the right wingers.

Wide players and inside forwards are key players in a 4-3-3 system but they are quite specialist positions, particularly on the right flank, where left-footed players are usually deployed.

Our list is a mix of firmly established players and new signings. Some have also had a lot more success in England’s top flight than others.

Press the next page as we count down the top five highest earning right wingers in the Premier League (based on data from Capology.com).

5) Dejan Kulusevski – Tottenham – £110K A Week

The Swedish international joined Spurs from Juventus on an initial loan deal back in January, but he is done more than enough to earn a permanent move to London.

Kulusevski has scored six goals and provided 11 assists in 29 appearances since arriving in England. At 22 years of age, he also has the potential to improve in the future.

4) Christian Pulisic – Chelsea – £150K A Week

Things haven’t really worked out for the American since the Blues paid £58m for his services back in 2019. Injuries have definitely been a factor but he has never managed to establish himself as a regular starter at Stamford Bridge.

Pulisic’s first season was probably his best as he reached double figures for goals but he has mainly been used as a substitute by his club over the last year or so.

3) Riyad Mahrez – Manchester City – £160K A Week

Part of Leicester’s miracle Premier League title win in 2016, the Algerian international continued to impress following his £60m switch to Manchester City in 2018.

Mahrez racked up 24 goals in all competitions last campaign, the most he has managed in a single season. He was rewarded for his efforts with a new two-year contract extension in the summer.

2) Antony – Manchester United – £200K A Week

The Brazilian has already shown off his excellent finishing ability with some spectacular goals in his first couple of months at Old Trafford but the jury is still out on whether he will be worth the £86m outlay.

Many believe that United did overpay for Antony but he is still only 22 and he could well turn out to be a very good investment for the future.

1) Mohamed Salah – Liverpool – £350K A Week

The Egyptian undoubtedly deserves his bumper new contract after his outstanding performances for the Reds over the past five and a half years.

However, Salah has been rather subdued by his own high standards this season, with only nine goals in 16 appearances. Whether the new deal has affected his form, it remains to be seen.
