The Most Promising Teenager At EVERY Premier League Club PART TWO

After profiling the best teenagers at Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brentford and Brighton last week, we now move on to our next four Premier League clubs.

Not every team in the top flight can afford to give young players chances, considering what is at stake in terms of the title, European qualification and the threat of relegation.

However, there are always some youngsters who stand out from the crowd and force their managers into handing them opportunities due to their huge potential.

Press the next page as we look at four more promising young talents who are making a name for themselves in England’s top division.

Burnley – Lewis Richardson

The England youth international made two brief cameo appearances for the first team last season, coming on in the defeats to Tottenham and Southampton.

This campaign, Richardson has not been afforded any more game time by manager Sean Dyche, mostly due to injury problems, but we may see him in action again for Burnley in the not too distant future.

Chelsea – Harvey Vale

Blues boss Thomas Tuchel gave the midfielder his full debut in the Carabao Cup quarter-final tie against Brentford. The 19-year-old impressed during his 65 minutes on the pitch.

Vale also featured in the 5-1 win over Chesterfield in the FA Cup last month, and many are tipping him to be the next player to make the step up from Chelsea’s academy, along with Jude Soonsup-Bell and Lewis Hall.

Crystal Palace – Jesurun Rak-Sakyi

Eagles manager Patrick Vieira clearly likes the look of the winger, having handed him a senior debut in his first match in charge against Chelsea back in August.

Rak-Sakyi has not been seen in first-team action since then, though, but he has been in excellent form for the Under 23s, having racked up 12 goals and three assists in 17 Premier League 2 appearances. The 19-year-old has also impressed in the EFL Trophy, scoring and assisting in a 2-0 win over AFC Wimbledon’s senior side.

Everton – Jarrad Branthwaite

By far the most experienced player on this list, the centre-back came through the ranks at Carlisle before joining the Toffees in 2020. He also spent the second half of last season out on loan at Blackburn Rovers.

Having returned to Merseyside in the summer, Branthwaite has made three appearances for Everton’s first team this campaign, and he got his first goal for the club with a crucial equaliser against Chelsea back in December.
