Vladimir Coufal
Vladimir Coufal accrued plenty of praise when he arrived at West Ham, alongside fellow Czech Republic compatriot Tomas Soucek. He appears to be in the process of being phased out in favour of Ben Johnson, but that doesn’t mean his time at the club is over.
Like Lanzini, West Ham have the option to extend Coufal’s contract by an additional two years. While they have yet to do so, it would be an odd move for the Hammers to allow such a capable full back to leave for nothing.
Despite this, at 30, Coufal is no spring chicken. If he does leave West Ham in the summer, it wouldn’t be a shock to see him depart the Premier League for good.
