The Deadline Day business West Ham could complete

West Ham have enjoyed a dramatic transfer window, with the Hammers doing remarkably well to land Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez, Joe Hart and Pablo Zabaleta- four players who significantly bolster their side,

However, those signings have not improved the fortune of Slaven Bilic’s side this season as the Hammers enter the international break having won all three of their opening Premier League matches- conceding ten goals and scoring just twice.

That’s raised the pressure on West Ham’s Croatian boss and the East London giants could be extremely active in the transfer market’s final day as a result, with both incoming and outgoing deals on the cards.

West Ham continue to eye a new central midfielder and William Carvalho still stands as their preferred signing, although the Hammers have found it difficult to get a deal for the Portuguese international over the line.

Jack Wilshere is reportedly an alternative, with the Hammers linked with a loan move for Arsenal’s out-of-sorts England midfielder, and another reported target is Barcelona’s Andre Gomes; who again is linked with a loan move to the London Stadium.

Elsewhere, reports this morning suggested West Ham had seen a loan move for Everton winger Kevin Mirallas rejected by their fellow Premier League side, which suggests Bilic is keen to add to his wide options having loaned January signing Robert Snodgrass to Aston Villa.

In terms of outgoings, Diafra Sakho has been left confused by his situation, having agreed a move to Rennes, but West Ham seem reluctant to approve a deal. That’s set to be resolved either way today, although it’s anyone’s guess as to how it finishes.

Domingos Quina is also set to leave, likely joining Sheffield United on-loan, and we could see further young assets leave on-loan before this evening’s transfer deadline, with it appearing that major exits are not on the cards.

West Ham fans will hope that Liverpool’s interest in Manuel Lanzini has ended, although the Argentine was also recently linked with Barcelona, and they also seem set to be successful in their attempts to keep Michail Antonio at the club- after he signed a new deal at the end of last season.
