The Best Performing Player At EVERY Premier League Club PART THREE

After going through the best performers at Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Leeds and Leicester last week, we now move on to our next five Premier League teams.

Liverpool and Manchester City have had a contrasting first half of the season to the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle and Norwich but we will be focusing on the individual performers at these clubs in this post.

As always, we will use the ratings from WhosScored.com to make our choices for the aforementioned sides.

Press the next page as we list the best performing players from the five clubs.

Mohamed Salah – Liverpool (8.02)

His inclusion on this list won’t come as a shock to anyone. The Egyptian is in superb form and he is currently the league’s top scorer with 13 goals.

Salah has produced moments of magic against Manchester City and Watford, whilst also recording a hat-trick versus Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Bernardo Silva – Manchester City (7.52)

The Portuguese international reportedly wanted to leave the Etihad Stadium back in the summer but he has shown no signs of being unsettled on the pitch.

Seven goals and one assist in 14 Premier League appearances is a fantastic return for Silva, who is replicating the type of form he showed in the 2018/19 season.

Paul Pogba – Manchester United (7.14)

It is a damning indictment of United’s campaign so far that the Frenchman remains (statistically) their best performing player, despite being injured since the start of November.

Pogba began the season like a house on fire with seven assists in his first four matches. He has failed to provide a goal contribution since then.

Allan Saint-Maximin – Newcastle United (7.16)

The Magpies’ flying winger is a threat to any defence, with his speed and physicality making him a very difficult player to handle.

Despite Newcastle’s problems, Saint-Maximin has been thriving this season, having bagged three goals and contributed three assists in 15 league matches so far.

Mathias Normann – Norwich City (6.87)

The Norwegian international signed for the Canaries from FC Rostov on a season-long loan in August and he has stood out despite the Norfolk club’s continued struggles near the bottom of the table.

Having said that, though, Normann has still only managed one goal and one assist in the Premier League so far this campaign.
