The Best Performing Player At EVERY Premier League Club PART FOUR

Following our look through the top performers at Liverpool and the two Manchester clubs last week, we now move on to our final five Premier League clubs.

Southampton, Tottenham and Watford have all struggled somewhat in the league, while West Ham and Wolves have performed above expectations.

We will, however, be focusing on the performances of individual players in this article. To make this as fair as possible, we’ll be making our choices based on their current ratings on WhoScored.

Press the next page as we list the best performing players from the five teams.

Mohammed Salisu – Southampton (7.04)

A number of Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, had been linked with the Ghanaian before he made the surprise move to St Mary’s in August last year.

Salisu did struggle to make an impact initially but, after taking a year to settle in the Premier League, we are now seeing the best of the centre-back.

Lucas Moura – Tottenham (7.20)

In what has been a poor season for Spurs so far, where Harry Kane has found goals hard to come by, Moura has been one of the few shining lights.

The Brazilian is sharp on the ball and his dribbling ability is right up there with the very best in the Premier League.

Emmanuel Dennis – Watford (7.17)

The Nigerian international is the joint fourth top scorer in the league this season, having bagged seven in 15 appearances for the Hornets.

Considering Dennis was snapped up for just £3m from Club Brugge in the summer, he has turned about to be an absolute bargain. The 24-year-old won’t be staying at Vicarage Road for very long if he keeps up his form in front of goal.

Declan Rice – West Ham (7.34)

The Hammers vice-captain is going from strength to strength. After initially breaking into the first team ostensibly as a defender who could do a job in midfield, he has now added so many other facets to his game.

Rice is a powerful runner, with surprising speed on the ball, while he has a good range of passing and a lethal shot from long range. West Ham will be very keen to keep hold of their new talisman.

Rayan Ait-Nouri – Wolves (7.12)

The Frenchman managed to pocket Mo Salah in a recent game against Liverpool, before an injury in the closing stages meant he was left helpless on the sidelines as the Reds secured a last-minute winner at Molineux.

Ait-Nouri is still only 20 years of age and the future looks very bright for the young left-back, who could well move on to a bigger club than Wolves.
