Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso is available for just €10m (£8.5m) this summer, with West Ham among the teams weighing up a potential bid for the Frenchman, according to reports in Germany.
Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester United are also said to be keen on the 27-year-old, who has less than a year left on his contract at the Allianz Arena.
Tolisso is a central midfield player; a position where the Hammers could do with strengthening. However, while fans on Twitter feel it is too good an opportunity to turn down, some are sceptical about the club’s chances of winning the race for his signature:
That’s a bargain we need to go for that

100% agree with this, if we can avoid him getting injured he'd be incredible imo…

We can’t sign someone that absolutely no one is interested in. What chance have got signing someone that lots of teams want

It would certainly be a coup if Tolisso arrives at the London Stadium, but there are some concerns about the player. He is fairly injury prone and he would probably demand a high salary.
For those reasons alone, it may be enough to put off West Ham from making an offer but we shall see how things develop in the coming weeks.
