West Ham are not interested in signing Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham on loan, according to insider ExWHUemployee.
There were some reports today that manager David Moyes was considering a bid for the 22-year-old, but it appears those stories are wide of the mark. Supporters on Twitter don’t think a move for the striker would have been a good idea anyway:
Thank god

Must be desperate

Good, don’t want him. Was really poor when he was on loan with Swansea & he hasn’t done it against any top teams at the moment I’m not convinced & don’t think he would suit us.

Abraham did score 18 goals in all competitions for Chelsea last season, and it is highly unlikely that the Blues would have sanctioned sending him out on loan despite the arrival of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig this summer.
Moyes is almost certainly looking at targets to strengthen the forward line, considering the London club have already offloaded Albian Ajeti and Jordan Hugill, but the lack of transfer funds makes any deal difficult.
There has also been talk in Italy about the Hammers possibly making a move for Juventus’s Gonzalo Higuain, who could be available on a free transfer very soon.
